Tom is a recently retired professor and administrative leader from Queen’s University, where he held positions as a Faculty dean, Vice-Principal (Advancement) and Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic).  During his career at Queen’s he was responsible for many important initiatives regarding academic change, fundraising and budgeting.

He has received recognition for his contributions in teaching, research and service and in 2020 received the Distinguished Service Award from Queen’s.

As a member of the board of CCKC, Tom has led the initiative to engage community partners and secure funding to adapt the Mendip Model to the Canadian context.
